Believe it or not I've never 'decorated' a cake before apart from the old 'ice the top and throw as many lollies on top as you can.' BUT being an artist, I've always been great at creating so I was incredibly over-confident that I'd decorate the best Elmo cake the internet has ever seen!
If you judge my success based on how much my son cried when we cut the cake and dissected Elmo's poor eye balls, well I'd say I was pretty close!
